Aliya Falk, LCSW | Therapist at Union Square Psychology

Aliya Falk, LMSW

My approach to therapy is grounded in the idea that strengthening both self-awareness and self-compassion can lead to meaningful and positive change. I draw on psychodynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness perspectives, using an eclectic framework that is adaptable to your individual needs.

My specialties include life transitions, interpersonal conflicts, anxiety, depression, and spiritual exploration. Together, we can look at the relationship between your internal experience and the external world, bringing clarity to the challenges you face.

Before receiving my MSW from the Silberman School of Social Work, I worked at a mental health tech company, where I gained insight into the unique difficulties of fast-paced work environments and the risk factors that can lead to burnout. Throughout school, I worked part-time as a graphic designer, baker, and photographer, which informs my clinical work with individuals pursuing creative career paths.

Whether you are looking to focus on a specific issue or seeking general support, I provide a judgment-free space where you can show up as you are. I offer both in-person and virtual appointments.
