Savannah Koonce, LMSW
My passion lies in meeting individuals where they’re at and creating a collaborative and empathetic space to explore thoughts and feelings. I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to tailor sessions to each client’s needs. I place a strong emphasis on building resilience, self-compassion, and coping skills that clients can take beyond our sessions.
My specialties include eating disorders and body image issues, anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, and trauma. I have experience working with a variety of individuals, including those involved in the justice system, college students, individuals with disabilities, and adolescents. I have a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Teachers College Columbia University and a Master of Social Work from Columbia University.
Please feel free to reach out, and let’s explore how we can work together toward your personal growth and well-being.
